The OPC Server allows data transfer between Siemens S7 PLCs and OPC Clients. The communication to S7-400 and S7-300 PLCs is handled via MPI, communication ot S7-200 PLCs is handled via PPI.
The Server runs for 72 hours after every start or restart. There are virtually no restrictions for testing. After successful test, install the Server at the final hardware and license it.
